Hitachi needed to introduce their new generation of excavator: the innovative hybrid ZH210LC-5 with advanced electrical technology and up to 31 per cent less fuel and emissions than the conventional model. This required a movie that had to show the benefits and technology in an informative but entertaining way.
First we had to understand the product and the technology within it. Then we produced a storyboard that outlined the details of the machine and the people involved in creating the hybrid, those who tested it and those involved in bringing it to the European market. This in turn was used as the template to create the movie used to help launch this innovative excavator. Alongside this we produced an advertising campaign for print and online.
